SOCIAL SUPPORT SERVICES
According to Wikipedia, social support is the perception and actuality that one is cared for, has assistance available from other people, and that one is a part of a supportive social network.
The benefits of human interaction cannot be over- emphasized and the negative impact of loneliness should not be under-estimated in an individual’s wellbeing.
At Adot healthcare we know a significant number of people go through periods of loneliness with no human interaction for a whole day, week, or a month. Certain health conditions may limit people’s ability to access the community or social activities.
We offer social support from one hour to whatever time you or your loved one requires or can afford.
